Problems removing payment card

If a user has outstanding orders which were not fully paid either because they were cancelled or given a refund then these unpaid orders stops the user from removing their card.

The administrator needs to go to the orders that are outstanding, select 'take full payment' and then in the drop-down of payment methods select 'Write off'. This will balance the order and they will then be able to remove their card.
